AMBASSADOR HOSTS A MEETING WITH LITHUANIAN CENTRAL CREDIT UNION DELEGATION
On November 19th, in Cairo, Lithuanian ambassador Dainius Junevičius hosted a meeting with Lithuanian Central Credit Union delegation headed by Fortunatas Dirginčius, the president of the Board of the Association. During the meeting the ambassador introduced the guests to economic and political situation in Egypt, economic relations between Egypt and Lithuania and discussed the possibilities of expanding the economic cooperation between Egypt and Lithuania.
During the visit in Cairo, the delegation met Arab Microfinance Association SANABEL representatives, visited microfinance institutions in Cairo and Alexandria, and exchanged the experience.
The delegation included – Central Credit Union Board and the Supervisory Board, also representatives from credit unions in Kaunas, Naujoji Akmenė, Telšiai, Raseiniai, Jonava, Plungė, Šilutė, Biržai and Jurbarkas.
