Ambassador of Lithuania has presented Letters of Credence to the President of Egypt

 H. E .Ambassador Dainius JUNEVIČIUS  has presented Letters of Credence to H. E. Muhammad Hosni Mubarak, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, accrediting him as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to the Arab Republic of Egypt as of today, 5th of December, 2010.   Ambassador D. Junevičius with a short brake has been serving in the Lithuanian Foreign Service since its reistablisment in 1991. In 1992-1994 he served as the first Lithuanian ambassador to the Republic of Poland. In 2001-2006 he served as the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Hellenic Repubic and as a non resident ambassador to the Republic of Albania, Republic of Romania and to the Republic of Bulgaria. In 2008 he was appointed as the Head of the Special Mission of the Republic of Lithuania to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and served in this possition until 2010.   Among other decorations, he received the Cross of the Order for Merits to the Republic of Poland in 2001.  Ambassador D. Junevičius speaks English, Latvian, Polish, Russian and Greek.
