FIELD MARSHAL MUHAMMAD HUSSEIN TANTAWI GREETED LITHUANIA ON ITS INDEPENDENCE DAY
On the16th of February chamberlain of the Egyptian Presidential Palace Mr. Said Hossam Zaatar paid a visit to the Lithuanian Embassy in Cairo and conveyed greetings of the Field Marshal Muhammad Hussein Tantawi to the President of the Republic of Lithuania, to the people of Lithuania and to the Lithuanian Embassy in Cairo on the occasion of the Lithuanian Independence day. S. H. Zaatar expressed sincere congratulations on behalf of Field Marshal M. H. Tantawi and stressed that he is pleased to witness intensifying cooperation between Lithuania and Egypt. S. H. Zaatar was met by the Charge d'Affaires, a. i. Giedrius Jokubauskis. Current bilateral Lithuanian-Egyptian relations were also briefly discussed during the meeting.
