LITHUANIAN EMBASSY ANNOUNCES PHOTO CONTEST
On the occasion of the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Embassy of Lithuania in Cairo announces a photo contest for the best images which demonstrate the friendship between Lithuania and Egypt.
The Embassy of Lithuania invites Egyptians to capture Lithuania, its people, culture, nature and landscape for a photo contest titled “Egyptians translate Lithuania”. Each contestant is invited to send up to 3 photos, with a text of max. 20 words, describing each photo. Entries should be sent to: amb.eg@mfa.lt by 15 December 2013. A jury with expertise in photography/art will select the best entries. The best photos will be posted on the Embassy’s Facebook page, exciting prizes are waiting for the winners.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania in Egypt, Mr. Dainius Junevičius, stressed that this contest should encourage Egyptians who live in Lithuania or have visited the country to express their understanding of Lithuania and believes that this contest will promote values of friendship between the two nations.
