LITHUANIAN GOVERNMENT RELAUNCHES INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION IN FREE ECONOMIC ZONES

The Government of Lithuania relaunches international competition for the best business plans, preparation of its statutes and selection of the groups of founders in Akmenė and Marijampolė Free Economic Zones.

The winning founder, or a group of founders, will have to set up a management company in Akmenė and Marijampolė Free Economic Zones which, along with institution authorized by the Government of Lithuania, will sign a framework agreement on the functioning of the aforementioned Free Economic Zones for a term of 49 years and will be responsible for attracting investors who will establish industrial and/or service companies and create new jobs in the Zones.
