Regarding national visa applications
Please be informed that according to the amendments to the Law of the Republic of Lithuania “On the Legal Status of Aliens” dated 1 of July, 2023, foreigners who are outside the territory of the Republic of Lithuania will submit applications for issuance of a national visa only through an External service provider selected by the Migration Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.
Applications for the issuance of national visas for the purpose of employment in the Republic of Lithuania will be processed at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Egypt only if they are received before 16 of June, 2023 and submitted via Lithuanian Visa Application Centers in Alexandria and Cairo before 12 of June, 2023.
Applications for the issuance of national visas for other purposes (e. g. study) will be processed at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Egypt only if they are received before 30 of June, 2023 and submitted via Lithuanian visa centers in Alexandria and Cairo. Before 26 of June, 2023.
