Statement regarding fake news

Embassy of Lithuania in Cairo would like to note that there is no official request from the government of Lithuania to receive young men from a specific country or region for marrying Lithuanian girls. All the news that are spread in media related to marrying a Lithuanian and getting citizenship and work right after the marriage are fake and not true.
